IN PERSON SERVICES
Updated March 2021
WHAT TO EXPECT
1. Building, Sanitation, & Safety:
We will do everything we can to ensure that our environment is Safe, Sanitized, Secure, and Spacious. We will take precautions to clean and disinfect our facility before, during, and after service. Hand sanitizing stations are available for use.
We will continue to ask that all attendees wear a mask upon entrance in the building until seated and any time you are walking around in the building during the service and when exiting. We also ask that masks be worn during worship time when singing occurs as a precaution for all in attendance.
3. TWO Onsite Service Times:
- We currently offer TWO onsite services every Sunday morning beginning at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM. Doors open at 8:30 AM. More services will be added as needed. We realize that it may take some time for everyone to feel comfortable gathering in person, and that’s okay. We will continue to offer a high quality, engaging online worship experience at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM for those that choose to continue worshipping at home.
4. Building Capacity:
For the time being we will ensure that social distancing recommendations are followed. Unless otherwise announced, we will not require registration for seating. To ensure attendees are comfortable with seating and that we allow for social distancing, ushers may ask you to sit in the Overflow Room should the auditorium be filled. Those seated in the Overflow Room will have full access to view and participate in the service through live streaming. Those seated in the Overflow Room will be asked to wear a mask for the entirety of the service. If you are feeling ill or have a weakened immune system, we would encourage you to continue to worship with us online.
5. LifePoint Kids:
We offer LP Kids classes during the 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM service times. We also offer a 9:00 AM Zoom class for children who may not be returning to onsite services yet. Our kids classroom are sanitized before and after each service to provide a healthy environment for children. Moms will have access to the Mommy & Me Room for needs associated with care of babies and infants. Should your child become restless during a church service, we ask that parents utilize the Overflow Room as mentioned above.
6. Social Distancing:
We will do our best to follow social distancing protocols and ask you to help us as we do so. Remember, this is not about our personal preferences, but for the comfort and consideration of others. At LifePoint we love to give hugs and shake hands; however, at this time, air high-fives and elbow bumps are appreciated. As you are entering, navigating the hallways, and exiting, please follow the appropriate social distancing guidelines.
The chairs in our auditorium will be separated in order to assist in appropriate distancing. Chairs will be set up in groups for individual households. When you enter the auditorium, please indicate to the ushers how many seats will be needed. This will allow us to maximize our available seating.
8. LP Café:
Each Sunday our LP Cafe Team will prepare coffee for you to enjoy. For safety protocols, they will serve the coffee to you and you will then be able to visit a coffee station to add your own creamer/sweetener. If you take your coffee into the auditorium, please make sure to have a lid on your cup to avoid spills on the carpet.
If you’re not ready to come back yet, we understand! Please continue to join us online.
